Interventional Cardiology

  • Inpatient 24 Hour Call

  • Required Experience:
    • Ischemic heart disease (percutaneous coronary intervention (angioplasty), stent placement, coronary thrombectomy)Required Experience:
    • Valve disease (valvuloplasty, percutaneous valve repair or replacement)Required Experience
    • Congenital heart abnormalities (repair of atrial and ventricular septal defects, closure of patent ductus arteriosus, angioplasty of the great vessels).
    • Able to perform interventional procedures such as balloon angioplasty and are skilled in the use of various cutting and laser devices to remove plaque build-up from arteries.
    • Case Logs: Must be able to provide case logs to show current competence and evidence of fifty (50) coronary intervention procedures in the past 12 months or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited cardiology fellowship which included training in interventional/invasive cardiology within the past 12 months
  • Epic EMR

Great Compensation 

  • $4500 24 hour per diem

Qualifications

  • Board Certified
  • Active Kentucky Medical License
  • Clean Malpractice History
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • ATLS
  • EPIC EMR Experience
  • Case Logs: Must be able to provide case logs to show current competence and evidence of fifty (50) coronary intervention procedures in the past 12 months or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited cardiology fellowship which included training in interventional/invasive cardiology within the past 12 months
